Fundraising
PSKC is fundraising to send our dedicated athletes to this year’s USA National Karate Championship recognized by the US Olympic Committee in July (Texas). PSKC athletes dominated with 37 medals at USA National Karate Championships Qualifier in West Virginia (February 2011)! All athletes qualified in both the Kata (series of moves in a set pattern) and Kumite (point fighting). Some qualified in weapons Kata as well. An estimated 2500 athletes from all across the nation will be competing in this year’s USA National Karate Championship recognized by the US Olympic Committee in July (Texas). The USA Karate is the National Governing Body for Karate in the USA and is a member of the US Olympic Committee.
